There are a few connections with Venezuela to Colombia, though they are not very safe and are best avoided in general, unless with an escort. There is also a border crossing with Brazil. Guyana has no road connections with Venezuela. National driving licences are accepted for up to a year, and International Driving Permits are also allowed. Insurance is recommended.
