Venezuela is home to a tropical climate in general, with temperatures never hitting any real low points all year round. The most comfortable months are from December to April as the warmth is counteracted with some light rainfall, making things a lot more comfortable. The rest of the year tends to be hot and sticky, with the rainy season lasting from May to November. Flooding and earthquakes have a chance of occurring in lowland regions and Caracas respectively, though catastrophic events have fortunately not occurred for a number of years.
